Let's Rise & Thrive Together!
About Rise & Thrive OT
Rise & Thrive OT provides individualized pediatric occupational therapy (OT) to infants, children, adolescents, and beyond, with a strong emphasis on family involvement and education to maximize success.
Rise & Thrive OT serves all diagnoses and needs (see below) using evidence-based, innovative approaches. Utilizing strengths-based practices, Rise & Thrive celebrates differences and is passionate about the therapeutic use of play, relationship-centered therapy, neurodiversity-affirming approaches, and empowering parents and families through hands-on learning and collaboration.
Rise & Thrive OT is owned and operated by Kristina Toussaint, MS, OTR/L, ASDCS, CPRCS, RYT. Kristina has served as an OT in academia, hospitals, outpatient clinics, mental health units, public and private schools, teletherapy, and even on farms! She achieved her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University and her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Temple University.
Dedicated to providing the best care for her clients and families, Kristina recently achieved her Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist certification (ASDCS). She is a Certified Primitive Reflex Clinical Specialist (CPRCS), which utilizes specific movements to rewire the brain, improving motor control, attention, behavior, and emotional regulation. She has completed the “Learning Without Tears” program, an evidence-based, multisensory approach to handwriting. Kristina is a certified Therapeutic Listening provider, which combines sound-based intervention with sensory integrative techniques. Kristina is also a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), impacting all aspects of her own life and the therapy she provides.
Together, we will help you and your loved ones achieve goals, increase independence, remove barriers to participation, and have a ton of fun along the way.
